So I’ve been playing an online game called Dead Frontier. It’s a massively multiplayer online game or MMO for short. Dead Frontier takes place in Fairview City where there are loads of mutants and zombies. Team out with friends or other people, meet them and fight zombie hordes together. Travel in the city by walking and go to different safe havens for business and security. Check records, fill your storage, buy on the marketplace, enter the yard, play gambling den, keep money from the bank and Arena where you can play PVP.
I found out this game from my friend here on facebook. He just mentioned it while we were chatting. At first, of course, I didn’t have interest even when I checked the website out. The game looks simple, but when you’ve played it you might have fun. It’s also a good time-passer.
I’ve been playing this for about 6hours and 57minutes now. I’ve been playing for 3days. I’m still not as good as the other players. I’m on lvl 13, with no good weapon. Just an ordinary axe, rilfe, shotgun and pistol. I have enough ammo’s here for my weapons. I have 929 rounds of 9mm handgun bullets, 500 rounds of .357 handgun bullets, 3241 rounds of .32 handgun bullets, 167 rounds of 5.5 rifle bullets, 248 rounds of .38 handgun bullets and 432 rounds of 20 gauge shells for shotgun. Sold my other ammo’s because I was lacking cash.
The first mission I’ve finish was on Nastya’s holdout. The mission’s title was “The Clue”. At first I really thought I couldn’t survive, thank goodness I didn’t die. I ran out of ammo’s because of that, until I learned that I just need to avoid them. It’s pretty easy to avoid them, but the stamina is making me hard to. It didn’t took me long before I finally found the clue, I never knew it was a tape that I need to find.
It’s hard when you’re wounded at Nastya Holdout if you’re at lvl 11+. It’ll be hard to heal yourself. Medics for lvl11+ cost a lot, but you can buy plasters or steri strips then go to the market and find services-medics. The healing effect will increase to 9% for lvl11+. So I finally decided to move on to a different outpost.
Right now I’ve successfully changed outpost from Nastya’s Holdout to Dogg’s Stockade. I didn’t go there alone, I have a friend with me. Dogg’s Stockade is substantially more dangerous than Nastya’s Holdout because it is in the yellow zone. Missions there are like Nastya, but more difficult. That’s what I read at Wiki. There are mutants there like Reapers. We didn’t fight any of them, but we just ran away. The stamina, of course, is making me hard to run, but we manage to escape every area’s where mutants are. They were all chasing after us.
First one we’ve encountered was this Burning Zombies. My friend bravely fought it, but he didn’t killed it. I didn’t do any actions but I just told him to keep away from the zombie instead. We can’t kill them yet since we only have fire axe equipped. We brought a lot of foods and medics. My friend didn’t have a problem on how percentage will affect on healing and starve, but I did. I was currently on lvl 12 that time, of course, lvl 10 medics and foods won’t affect me a lot. It would just heal or remove my starve for about 3% which is not really enough. I got injured by this burning zombie so I had to heal myself with the steri strips that I brought and some that I got from looting on dead corpse. I bought an antiseptic spray before going on adventure. I didn’t use any of it when I got injured. I was lack of medics by that time, I really couldn’t fight any monsters so we made a ran for it. I got lack of foods too, I used all the foods which is not enough. The adventure still goes on until we encounter more mutants like the Reapers and Irradiated zombies.
Something went bad while my friend and I are walking on the road. He got disconnected. At first I thought he was just on AFK (like pause mode), but he suddenly vanished. I didn’t freak out, but I got worried. I waited for my friend of course and called out for him, but nothing happened. So we talked about it on facebook. Apparently after he disconnected, we didn’t meet again. He got connected again, but we can’t see each other. He can see my player, but I can’t see him. So we walk upto Dogg’s by ourselves. We just made a ran for it. We didn’t fought any monsters, just run. We were near Dogg’s already when he got disconnected, so it was easier for us to go to Dogg’s. I got chased by loads of zombies and mutants, I ran of course until I got to another area where there are same monsters. We rendezvous at the Stockade, but I wasn’t on time. My friend got there earlier, but I didn’t.
When we first got there, Dogg offered us a mission. Of course we wouldn’t accept it yet, after walking around very long and been chased by zombies. Accepting the mission would be an exact suicide for us right now. We don’t have any good weapon to fight over stronger zombies that was mutated.
Right now I bought 3cans of dog food for lvl11-20, which I think is enough for me. It really would taste bad, but dog foods can be eaten by humans. It would keep every survivors healthier too. But if I were there, I wouldn’t get canned dog foods, I would probably just throw up what I ate. I’ll be sick. My taste are sensitive. I don’t want to go looting yet since it’s hard to get chased by zombies now. The stockade isn’t a safe place, unlike the holdout, there aren’t much zombies there and whats cool is theres no mutant. I wouldn’t be thinking of going back there anymore, there’s nothing useful I can do there.
So far, I’m enjoying every bit of my gameplay. It’s not the best game I’ve played like Resident Evil, Final Fantasy and Silent Hill, but it’s worth my time. I don’t know if I could play it much longer. I’m gonna get new games and I’ll be busy sooner, I don’t know if I’ll have a spare time to play this game, but I’ll always try to. Let’s just hope we’ll all survive this hell-hole god damn forsaken paradise without dying in major times and to escape from this endless nightmare in one piece.
